Ylang ylang essential oil is extracted from blossoms of a beautiful orchid climber, Cananga odorata.
Highly prized in both perfumery and aromatheraphy, unique scent of Ylang ylang is extremely soft, sensual, heady and floral. It has a balancing action on nervous and hormonal systems and can be very beneficial for treating menopause or PMS symptoms as nervousness, anxiety, restlessness and spasms. Ylang ylang has a notoriuos history of being aphrodisiacum and known for its use in releasing frigidity and tension. Uplifting antidepressant kind of essential oil that acts as a tonic to entire nervous system.
USES
SKIN / BODY
For reviving body oil dilute 0,5 ml. of Ylang ylang into 10 ml. of neutral organic base oil.
SHOWER / STEAM
Drip 4-5 drops on a base of shower zone, pour hot water over it.
BATH
Dilute 1 ml. of Ylang ylang essential oil into 10 ml. neutral organic base oil.
Pour it into running water for better distribution in bath water.
DIFFUSER
Adding 3 - 4 drops of Ylang ylang to diffuser, ambience will last for 2-3 hours in a room of 30 square meters.
BLENDS WELL WITH
Orange, Neroli, Jasmine, Tangerine, Myrrha.
