"Thymos" means "perfume" in Greek. This tiny, aromatic herb has been used since ancient times for its excellent antiseptic and cold relieving functions. Thyme is well known for reviving low spirits, feelings of exhaustion and releasing traumatic emotions. It is a very beneficial essential oil to the whole immune system as it helps to fight disease, activates circulation and is expectorant, helps to expel congested mucus. Thyme is a delicate herbal note that resembles nectary scent of forest and wild meadow. Saunas, room ambiences, inhalations are welcome.
USES
SKIN / BODY
For rejuvenating body oil dilute 1 ml. of Geranium into 10 ml. of neutral organic base oil. Thyme essential oil should be used with caution.
SHOWER / STEAM
4 - 6 drops on a base of your shower cabin, pour hot water.
BATH
Dilute 1 ml. of Thyme essential oil into 10 ml. neutral organic base oil.
Pour into running water for better distribution of scent in bath water.
INHALATIONS
Add 1-2 drops of Thyme essential oil into a bowl of at least 2 liters burning water. Blend 2 spoons of sea salt. Cover your head with linen cloth and breathe deeply.
DIFFUSER
Adding 6-8 drops of Thyme essential oil to diffuser, fragrant ambience will last for 2-3 hours in a room of 30 square meters.
