Bee propolis tincture is a concentrated liquid extract made from the resinous mixture bees use to seal their hives. It is valued for its high concentration of polyphenols (antioxidants) and is primarily used to strengthen the immune system, soothe sore throats, and accelerate the healing of cold sores.

Propolis is highly regarded for its antimicrobial, antiviral, and antifungal properties. It can therefore be used to alleviate symptoms of colds, coughs, and minor respiratory issues.
It can also be used as a natural remedy for sore throats and to combat bacteria that cause gingivitis. When diluted in water, the tincture can be gargled as a soothing mouthwash.
