Ylang ylang essential oil is extracted from the flowers of a beautiful orchid climber, Cananga odorata.
Highly prized in both perfumery and aromatherapy, the unique scent of Ylang Ylang is extremely soft, sensual, intoxicating and floral. It has a balancing effect on the nervous and hormonal systems and can be very beneficial for treating menopausal or PMS symptoms such as nervousness, anxiety, restlessness and spasms. Ylang Ylang has a well-known history of being an aphrodisiac and is known for its use to relieve frigidity and tension. Uplifting antidepressant type essential oil that acts as a tonic for the entire nervous system.
AREAS OF USE
SKIN / BODY
To revive body oil, dilute 0.5 ml of Ylang ylang in 10 ml of neutral organic base oil.
SHOWER / STEAM
Drip 4-5 drops onto a base of the shower area, pour warm water over it.
BOTH
Dilute 1 ml of Ylang ylang essential oil in 10 ml of neutral organic base oil.
Pour it into running water for better distribution in the bath water.
DIFFUSER
If you add 3 - 4 drops of Ylang ylang to the diffuser, the mood will last for 2-3 hours in a 30 square meter room.
BLENDS WELL WITH
Orange, Neroli, Jasmine, Tangerine, Myrrh.
