The term "Patchouli" originates from Hindustan and has a long history of medicinal use in Malaysia, China, India and Japan. Dried patchouli leaves were placed between the folds of Indian cashmere shawls to protect the goods from moths. This is how patchouli came to Europe, and together with exotic sandalwood and jasmine, it became an emblem of 70s fragrances.
The patchouli scent has an interesting effect on the mind: its earthy aura promotes balance and provides a grounding effect that makes thoughts more objective.
NATURALES supplies premium patchouli essential oil from Indonesia, which has a wonderful and rich range of fragrance notes. It is quite dense with balsamic properties and has hints of coffee, tobacco and cognac.
AREAS OF USE
SKIN / BODY
For a revitalizing body oil, mix 0.5 ml of frankincense with 10 ml of neutral organic base oil.
SHOWER / STEAM
Drip 6-8 drops into the shower area, pour over warm water.
BATH
Mix 2 ml of patchouli essential oil with 10 ml of neutral organic base oil.
Pour the mixture into running water for better distribution in the bath water.
FRAGRANCE DIFFUSER
Add 6-8 drops of patchouli to a diffuser. The scent experience will last for 2-3 hours in a 30 square meter room.
GOES WELL WITH
Mandarin, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Siberian Fir, Orange.
