Bergamot essential oil is highly valued in both perfumery and aromatheraphy due to its complex, versatile character and wonderful sillage.

Bergamot fruits, when expressed, produce a very delicate, elegantly green and richly floral essential oil. Often used in Aromatheraphy for its uplifting qualities it might be a first choice for depressive states.

Its sedative yet uplifting character is excellent for safety, anxiety and feeling of restlessness.

It seems to work well on anger and frustration probably by decreasing the action of sympathetic nervous tension.

USES

SKIN / BODY
For rejuvenating body oil dilute 0.5 ml. of Bergamot essential oil into 10 ml. of neutral organic base oil.
Be careful, Bergamot oil might be photosynthetic. Do not expose to direct sunlight and never use on skin undiluted.

SHOWER / STEAM
Drip 4 - 6 drops on a base of shower cabin, pour hot water.

BATH
Dilute 1 ml. of Bergamot essential oil into 10 ml. neutral organic base oil. Shake it well and pour into running water for a better distribution of scent in bath water.

DIFFUSER
Adding 6-8 drops of Bergamot to diffuser, fragrant ambience will last for 2-3 hours in a room of 30 square meters.

BLENDS WELL WITH
Orange, Tangerine, Frankincense, Siberian Fir, Cedarwood.

The citrus fruit bergamot has an exquisite, complex scent: fresh, clear and elegant. Bergamot oil is energizing, but is also considered the most balancing of all citrus oils. This oil is organic and bergapthen-free, meaning this type of oil is much safer to use in relation to to skin sensitivity in relation to exposure to sunlight.
