When bergamot fruits are cold pressed, a very delicate, elegant green and richly floral essential oil is produced. Often used in aromatherapy for its uplifting properties, and can be a first choice for depressive states.

It appears to have a positive effect on anger and frustration, probably by reducing activity in the sympathetic nervous system.

AREAS OF USE

SKIN / BODY
For a refreshing body oil, mix 0.5 ml of bergamot essential oil with 10 ml of neutral organic base oil.
Be careful, as bergamot oil can be photosensitive. Avoid direct sunlight and never use undiluted on the skin.

SHOWER / STEAM
Drip 4-6 drops on the bottom of the shower stall, pour over hot water.

BATH
Mix 1 ml of bergamot essential oil with 10 ml of neutral organic base oil.
Shake well and add to running water for better distribution of the scent in the bathwater.

FRAGRANCE DIFFUSER
Add 6-8 drops of bergamot oil to a diffuser for a fragrant atmosphere that lasts for 2-3 hours in a 30 square meter room.

GOES WELL WITH
Orange, Mandarin, Frankincense, Siberian Fir, Cedarwood.
